A Thought on Missions

This past Sunday I had the opportunity to be at Cornerstone Baptist Church and play the piano during their Faith Promise Mission Commitment Sunday following their Missions Emphasis Month. The services were Spirit-filled and God moved. After all the commitments were counted, they increased their missions giving by fifty percent from last year.

It’s always amazing to see God’s people come together and give more than seems possible to reach those around the world.

Most of my blog post have several points or an outline. However, this post isn’t one of those. I just want to convey one main thought: God is big enough to use us! No matter what we have; no matter what struggles we have; no matter how little we think we can give-God can use it! He wants to use each and every one of us to make a difference in our world.

I want you to prayerfully consider what God wants you to do or to give. As you pray, remember that God wants to use you, and that His grace and His will is what compels is to give. If you don’t think you have enough to give, keep in mind that God is the One that is giving it.

God wants to give through you, not just to you!

If we are going to “contend for the faith” we must actively try to reach the unsaved of the world.
