As many of you know, I’m the Youth Pastor at Dunes Baptist Church. Our theme for 2018 is “Stay in the Fight”. At the beginning of the year, with our theme in mind, I order the book STAND by Dr. John Goetsch.
Many times, I’m afraid, Christians become complacent sitting on the sideline of spiritual battle, letting their fellow Christian soldiers down. In the book, Bro. Goetsch emphasizes the importance of committing to stand and fight for what’s right in your own life and in the world.
I highly recommended this book for teens, parents, pastors, and Christians in general. Everyone can benefit from the practical advice. I especially like how Bro. Goetsch brings to light the importance of putting on the full armor of God – every piece – every day.
